Nothing quite as painful ...

As a child's violin recital.

Trust me after 5 years of lessons, its still not getting easier.

Oh my Jen. That post should come with a warning.... I'll have to post some of Jason's first attempts at the drums after Christmas.

This my son's first year at playing the saxophone so it has been interesting to say the least!

This is funny!
I found your blog b/c of the Bethany boards. I loved loved loved what you wrote under the post about the article on transracial adoption recently and so I clicked on the link to your blog and have loved reading up on your lives. The story of Greg meeting his birth family had me in tears. It hits closer to home than you realize!

Ah, I can relate - there is a huge difference betwen a grade 8 band concert and grade 11 (unfortunatly they are all on one night!!! No escape!)

Hey, that wasn't so bad - I had to sit through 4 years of recitals when Bryan was doing his voice lessons - I had to endure some verrry nasty piano playing, and waaaaay too much equally hideous opera singing (not from Bryan, mind you).
