Our girls arrived that day in May.
Taya was one day shy of 13 months.
Jayde was 9 weeks old.
I was her seventh mother.
We were told we would have them in our home for 3 months.
There were some hard times as they adjusted to our family.
We worked on attachment.
They needed to trust that we weren't just another stop on the way.
By Summer's End we knew we weren't just a 3 month home.
And with time came healing.
And with healing came smiles.
We melded into a family.

Congratulations!!!! i am guessing it is all final since you are showing their faces. How wonderful for you and girls to know that you are family now and they will never have to leave a house again.
Congratulations again to you all,
Deb
your boys and your girls, what a blessing! I am thrilled that this has worked out for you and that those precious girls can call this home forever.
They are beautiful. I'm a foster mom in Kentucky, USA, and I have prayed for you and am thankful for this answered prayer. God bless you and your lovely family.

Dearest Jen. These pictures are so sweet.
I am always holding you in my heart.
Congratulations! To you and to your girls. Your family is just beautiful.
Well I can hardly see to make sure my fingers are hitting the right keys.. TEARS OF JOY flooding me. I can only imagine the joy crusing through your house, I can however imagine the noise level! What an amazing, burden to be lifted, prayer has been answered and you are blessed amidst women (Shel, too but he does not write so....) That is the best mother's day gift ever. HUGS to all!
My heart is so full of joy for you and relief for the girls. Knowing that Taya is the same age as my boys, I just can't imagine the trauma that she would endure if she was separated from your family. Praise the Lord that His plan was fulfilled for these little ones!
so happy to hear your news and that these little girls have their family once and for all. My heart is full thinking about all you've gone through to get here.
Congratulations! Our adoption will be final on our 19mth old daughter wednesday (who we got when she was 3 days old foster to adopt). I know how hard it has been for you and what a blessing these little girls are.
and to think this all began because you decide to donate your kidney! So are you still Jensboys or Jensboysngirls? Jess.
Congratulations. Pardon me while I wipe the tears from my face.
SO incredibly happy for you ALL!!! What incredible blessings you are to each other--your daughters, your sons, their first families, your entire family. We don't know each other but your blog touches my heart every time I read it...sometimes with laughter, sometimes with tears (sad AND happy) and always, always with the love you feel for everyone in your family.
Blessings to you all :)
I'm late to the party, I know, but your daughters are so gorgeous! Congratulations. =)
