Is this where I mention the fact we just repainted our living room less than a week ago? So recently in fact that our mouldings are still not installed.
Is this where I mention the fact that my boys never, ever colored on the walls (although more than one decorated clothing or bedding)?
Is this where I mention the fact I just went to tuck her into bed and she was completely naked and having a party in her crib?
This IS where I mention that our little Miss Curious is completely full of vim and vigor and everything I thought I knew about parenting I no longer do.

That is a great picture!
Yup, well try having one of those firecracker kids first - it works better that way b/c you lose your assurance and pride oh-so-quickly!!
Now we have none left and marvel at the next 2 easy, amazing kids! Heck, I may even have sufficiently recovered and want more...
Like the Blind Side movie - they change your life more than you do theirs!!
xo
I noticed the Biblical Parenting Resource on the floor of one of the pictures. Does it say anywhere in there what to do about kids writing on walls?
When Kiara did this we handed her a cloth and told her to scrub. It was the wall, the stool, herself, the clothes and the floor... lol
I hear Picasso, Renoir, Van Gogh and most definitely Michelango drew on walls too (In fact Michelangelo never stopped - look what he did in church!).
LOL!!! Hey, those magic erasers work great to wipe pen right off the wall.... I have experience with that. :)
I absolutely LOVE these stories! My daughter was the same way; I never knew what I was in for. And now at 5, I never know what's going to come out of her mouth....
Hey CB and KB ... maybe Kiara TAUGHT her how to do it? :) Whats worse than that being the Biblical Parenting REsource on the floor ... its the TEACHERS KIT for Biblical Parenting Resources :)!!! I am supposed to be TEACHING the darn class!
Oh dear....hahaha!
LOVE the picture :)
heh. my daughter was the GOOD one. her little brother? not so much.
ate dog food. fell asleep standing up holding his dad's hand (ok he gets that from his dad!). painted the walls with the contents of his diaper. three different times. likewise painted the upholstered rocker. stole his sister's nail polish and makeup and painted the walls.
(she took the baby gate and put it across HER door to keep him OUT.)
kids are wonderful no matter their ages. my two are now 16 (him) and 27 (her) and constantly say "how did you keep from beating me to death?" and i said the same thing i always say...
"because someone else was in the bathroom and Luminol will find blood in the carpet. bleach cleans AND breaks down the DNA at the same time."
(they still think this is absolutely hilarious. they also know i cried when i had to punish them, the wee little boogers that they are!)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that last picture!
I absolutely love your post bout your daughter writing on the wall! The picture of her walking with your son is brilliant! Keep up the good work Momma!
