As My World Turns

Look at that picture very, very closely.
I won't blame you if you don't believe this because I cant really believe it either.

Yesterday morning was pretty normal and by last night we had two extra kids.

TWO EXTRA KIDS. Two baby girls in fact.

It makes no sense, is completely illogical but we did it anyway.

There was not a foster home in town that could take both of them and these precious full biological baby sisters were going to be separated. A friend of ours that works for the Ministry of Children's and Families thought that maybe with Shel home right now we would consider it.

We considered it. We are doing something we said we would NEVER, EVER, EVER do again. We are fostering.

By last night, our house looked like a bomb of pink had gone off. The boys are alternatively excited, cautious, indifferent and thrilled. It depends on the moment.

So welcome to the family, for however long you stay, Miss Tiny, age 2 months and Miss Curious, age 13 months.

Now I am going to go take a nap.

Wow Jen. That will definitely help out with Shel being out of work. I just had 3 boys living with us for 10 days so for a while I was a single mom to 4 boys, almost 8, two 5 year olds and a 3 year old. It was actually a lot of fun with no squabbles, fights or disagreements.

Aww, well enjoy the baby girls while you have them. It will be crazy, but I bet you get some sweet cuddle time too.

Your world doesn't just turn, it jumps up and down and does wheelies!

Ah, the sea of pink and pastels... so different from all the blue, black and hockey gear. May God bless you & use you beyond all you can imagine in all your jump of the deep end adventures. Is the word NO even in your vocab?????
You go!

Jennnnnnnn?!?!! OK, which is it? Does God have a sense of humor or insane timing? :D

I agree with CB. Your very life is a great bestseller.

(Need a ghostwriter? **G**)

I agree, that would be the perfect title of your autobiography

"What, Next?"

You should write it off your blogs. They never fail to put a smile on my face or a tear in my eye, and I am a hardass.

Wow, it's getting hard to keep up with you! It's probably 1000 crazier to be in the middle of it. :)

Enjoy the baby snuggles!
