Saw Sleepy Sister

Ok, first off, sorry to the 5 people who's lovely comments I just accidentally deleted! Ooops, hey, good help is hard to find! Maybe if you do them again I will get it right and Jenn will never know?

So I know everyone is wondering how she is?! She is pretty good. So maybe she falls asleep mid-sentence and actually agreed to have her picture taken, perhaps signs of good meds?!

Otherwise she is doing well. She is definitely tired and sleepy, but her pain is manageable, well as long as she doesn't move. She is itchy, some reaction to the anaesthetic and a bit nauseous at times too.

Surgery went well and the tumor was embedded on the outer edge of her kidney, not deep within it. I think that is why surgery was a bit shorter than expected. Also, from all appearances, the tumor seemed to be contained within itself, which is the best news.
I am realizing I may not be making a lot of sense, perhaps tomorrow will be a little less tiring and stressful and I can write something better for you, but for now at least you have an update. I will see Jenn again tomorrow, so will hopefully have something more to say tomorrow night.

Jess, thank you for the updates...your 'Oops' are forgiven.
Happy to know that our prayers were answered, that Jen heard the "Wake Up Jen' call that went out earlier today.
God is good.

I had a reaction to my c-section morphine and I remember those itchies well!! I hope she gets over it sooner than I did!!

Anyway glad to hear so far its been the "best" case scenario and hopefully that trend continues and the cancer is benign. Healing vibes sent your way.

So happy I stumbled onto this blog. Trying to research transracial adoptions, as we have been asked to have our adoption profile shown to a Jamaican birth mother. We are from a rural community in Ontario Canada, just trying to figure out if our family would be best for baby.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and a successful surgery, and long future. Best wishes and love,

Jaime
